VALERIO TIBERI – LIGHTING DESIGNER
In june 2014 his Broadway debut with the most important italian musical Rugantino, starring Enrico Brignano at New York City center theater.
In May 2010 his premiere at Teatro alla Scala in Milan for the ballet “Immemoria”, choreographer Francesco Ventriglia and with him he collaborated again in 2011 at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence for “Stabat Mater”.Also signing for Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the lighting design of “Swan Lake”, choreography Paul Chalmer, in 2011.
He design many musicals production, including “Flashdance” for Stage Entertaiment directed by F. Bellone , “Titanic” also by F.Bellone, and “The Mission” for the Seoul Sejong Theater directed by S. Genovese, other musicals includes “ghost” also directed by S.Genovese and also “Young Frankenstein”, “Happy Days” , “Cats” , “The Producers” , “Cabaret” , “On the day of turtle ” , ” A Chorus Line” , “High School Musical” , ” Grease” all of them for Compagnia della Rancia and ” Pinocchio – the Musical ” for the South Korea, Seoul Art Center, and in USA at the Kaye Playhouse NYC all directed by Saverio Marconi.
The Opera design Highlights includes WORKS at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,the Teatro Verdi in Sassari,the Teatro Massimo of Palermo,the Sferisterio Opera Festival, the French Centre for Lyric Promotion , and Teatro alla Scala.
In the Play Theatre he collaborates for the Teatro Eliseo in Rome and Verona Shakespeare Festival performances as “Hamlet,” Twelfth Night ” , ” Pleasure of honesty”, “The Merry Wives of Windsor”, “The floating light bulb” and, for the direction of G.Guidi “They are playng our song”.
From 2013 he work as Lighting Designer for the gala dance “Roberto Bolle & Friends”.
He is teaching Light Design at Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
From 2012 is also one of the resident lighting designer at Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
For Fashion Show he lights Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce&Gabbana and Krizia.
He light the exposition of Tony Cragg inside the Duomo of Milan.
